The 21-day, habit-builder, daisy-chain is the cutest tool to help you build a new good habit over 21 uninterrupted days. You can choose either the little white flowers or the daisies with a yellow centre.

  1. Decide on the new habit you would like to build
  2. Make sure your goal is reachable
  3. Set a time every day to do this new activity or action
  4. See if it’s possible to stack it together with an existing habit such as brushing your teeth or your morning coffee so that you do them at the same time
  5. Pick a day to start
  6. Each day that you do your new activity or action, pick a daisy pebble from the bag and place it somewhere prominent or secluded, perhaps at your desk, on a windowsill or along a bookshelf. Place the daisy pebbles to form a straight line, or a circle, or any pattern you like. Have fun with it.
  7. Try not to miss a day, if you do, carry on the next day (don’t miss more than one day in a row because that starts to form a new habit)
  8. If it goes to pieces, as sometimes new projects do, take a breather and start again from the beginning. Or choose something more attainable to start with. Success breeds more success!

  • Are there other established habits you can link this to? (Morning coffee, brushing teeth, driving to work etc)
  • When would you like to start?
  • Is there anything that will prevent you from doing this?
  • If there is, what can you do to change that?
  • Where are you going to place your daily daisy?
